The Kings County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., in the Board Chambers, County Government Center, 1400 W. Lacey Blvd., Hanford, California. The purpose of the hearing was to establish booking fees to be imposed for the booking of persons brought to a county jail for 2026-2027. Data indicating the amount of cost or estimated cost required to provide the service for which the fee is levied, is available at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors by request.  The calculated fee recommended for FY 26-27 is $214 per booking. The Board will adopt the Ordinance at their June 30, 2026 meeting and it will be effective 30 days after the adoption.
